For over 100 years Country Club of Decatur has upheld a tradition of enhancing the lives of its members and families by providing the finest in dining, social and recreational amenities in a private club environment.

Located near Lake Decatur, CCD features a family-oriented atmosphere, an 18-hole golf course, a 27,000 square foot clubhouse, clay tennis courts and aquatic amenities, making us the premier private club in the Central Illinois area.

The Country Club of Decatur golf course is challenging and beautiful. The course layout will accommodate all levels of golfers from the junior to the senior, beginner to advanced. The agronomic staff is dedicated to keeping the grounds in pristine condition. The knowledgeable Golf Professionals offer an array of golf apparel and equipment.

The Club offers several dining areas to satisfy the needs of its membership. The Executive Chef offers a wide assortment of artfully prepared entrees and hors d’oeuvres ranging from the causal burger and fries to extravagant dinner entrees.

Our staff is dedicated to ensuring the highest standard of hospitality; the Country Club of Decatur offers unique facilities, excellent customer service, and exquisite cuisine.

The Tennis program focuses on both adult and junior players, with clinics, private lessons and tournaments. Our dedicated Tennis Professionals provide a regimented program with fun and learning as the main goals. The opportunity for more competitive play is always prevalent, as well.

CCD features three lighted professionally-maintained clay courts. The many advantages of clay include being cooler than asphalt, easier on the knees, and slower playing, which increases the number of rallies while making them longer and more enjoyable.

The swimming pool at CCD is one of the finest in the area. Features include 8 lap lanes for the more serious swimmer, a 1 meter board in the diving well, and 2 smaller pools, one for infants and another for young children. Our Snack Shop, adjacent to the Pool, offers indoor and outdoor dining. Summer swim meets are popular and host a large turnout.
