Lake Ridge

Members of LakeRidge Country Club enjoy an 18 hole championship course designed by Billy Martindale and Don January that opened in 1979. The mature par 72 course is the centerpiece of an exclusive neighborhood, built around two lakes and featuring tight fairways and heavily bunkered greens. Each hole is surrounded by water or out of bounds, making LakeRidge a challenging and rewarding course to play. LakeRidge is also known for having some of the best greens in West Texas.

Some of LakeRidge’s signature holes are the par-3 fourth hole, which plays 187 yards from the back tees. This hole features a water front, an extremely sloped green and a large bunker on the right. The par-5 sixth hole also provides a challenging setup, featuring a fairway framed by a road on the right, a lake on the left and a creek crossing the fairway at 250 yards off the tee. On the back nine, you will notice the dogleg-left 17th hole, a 453 yard monster with an undulating, tree-lined fairway and a bunker protecting the right front of the green.
