Markland Wood Golf Club

From the mature hardwood trees that border its narrow fairways to the meandering Etobicoke Creek that comes into play on thirteen of its eighteen holes, the Markland Wood golf course features one of the most peaceful and idyllic walking-friendly designs anywhere.

Most prospective members are pleasantly surprised to discover that such unspoiled natural beauty and tranquility can be found within just a few minutes of downtown Toronto.

Running north and south of Bloor Street, the Markland Wood golf course can also prove challenging, as it places a premium on accuracy off the tee. With seven different tee options to choose from, members at all levels are able to test their game, which can be played as a par 70/71.

Magnificently manicured, the greens are slightly elevated and fast, and guarded by numerous strategically placed sand traps. Currently extending 6,300 yards off the tips, there are plans to add additional length to the course in the near future.
